Kids and Faith
Faith plays a significant role in a child's development and can influence various aspects of their lives. While there aren't exact statistics on when faith is most important, several studies and surveys suggest the following:
Early Childhood:
Many studies indicate that children's foundational beliefs and values are often established during early childhood, typically before the age of 7 or 8. During this period, children are highly impressionable and tend to absorb faith from their families and communities.
Parental Influence:
Research consistently shows that parental influence is one of the most significant factors in shaping a child's beliefs and practices. Children tend to adopt their parent's faith, and parental involvement in church activities can strengthen their growth in learning to follow Jesus.
Helping You and Your Family Along the Way:
At Grace Capital Church, we not only offer opportunities for your kids to strengthen their faith, but also foster connections among parents, encouraging the building of friendships to support each other along the journey.
