Friday - Day 5

By: Kevin & Sylvia Womack

Do you have the right perspective today?

Ephesians 1:3 : "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ."

The Apostle Paul wrote this Epistle while he was in prison.  Paul’s right perspective is seen in these words he wrote saying, “blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”   His eyes were on the One who is almighty, all-powerful, and all-knowing.  When we consider this, we must see that there is ample support available from our Lord.  The context of this verse is seen in that thought that God has chosen us.  God chose us for Himself, and we are now blessed, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, lavished with grace, living according to His plan, and assured of our heavenly calling.

Are you going through a difficult season? Be encourage today and meditate like the Apostle Paul on all His spiritual blessings: You are righteous before God. You have access to God’s wisdom. You are reconciled to God. You are Christ’s friend. You are sanctified and forgiven. You have a spirit of power, love and a sound mind.  You are fully taken care of by God, who will meet all your needs. He gives you His knowledge and understanding. You are sealed by the Holy Spirit. God will never leave you nor forsake you. You are loved. He fights your battles and so you are assured a victorious life.  You have been healed by His stripes. Powerful thoughts here.

Like the Apostle Paul, have the right perspective throughout the day today.  May the eyes of your understanding be enlightened today to know the riches of His glory that are available to you.  Meditate on God’s wonderful and perfect love for you today.
