Grace Capital Church belongs to a larger denominational family known as the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, founded by Aimee Semple McPherson in the early 1900's. Today the Foursquare gospel blankets some 67 nations.  The result of this vision is over 18,000 churches spread throughout the world.

When Foursquare members describe their own church, the following words seem to be prevalent:

  • "Family." People from all walks of life have found new  life and fellowship which is full of love, acceptance and forgiveness. 

  • "Worldwide Evangelism." Etched on the cornerstone of  its founding church, the International Church of the Foursquare Church has  been dedicated to proclaiming the truth of "Jesus Christ the Same,  Yesterday and Today and Forever" (Hebrews 13:8) to every corner of the  world.  

  • "Middle of the Road." Foursquare members embrace a  theology which is distinctly Pentecostal and practical. It relates to the  entire Body of Christ, finding itself in the "middle of the road", believing  "God has called us to be one in Christ." 

  • "Consistency." While is there is great versatility in  the personalities and styles of Foursquare churches, one will discover a  thorough commitment to unity and faithfulness regarding the essentials  prescribed by God's Word and His
