Child Dedication

When & Where is Baby & Child Dedication?"Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
During this service, parents affirm their own faith in Jesus Christ and promise to model and teach that faith to their children. At the same time, the church body agrees to walk alongside parents and hold them accountable.

Child dedication is held generally on the second Sunday of every other month as a part of the Weekend Celebration Service.

General Guidelines:

  1. Parents of children being dedicated must have shown evidence of being a Christ - follower and display attributes of living a Christian life.
  2. Parents of children being dedicated should be members or faithful attendees of Grace Capital Church.
  3. Parents of children being dedicated should be active participants in a cell group.
  4. Parents should show evidence of a desire to grow their relationship with the Lord.
